ORGANIZATION TO LEARN ABOUT THE FSC-COC PROCESS

To curb deforestation in recent times, in early 2019, the European and American markets required products related to papermaking materials to have FSC certification.

So what is FSC?

FSC, an acronym for Forest Stewardship Council, is an international, non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 1993 in Toronto. Its headquarters are currently located in Bonn, Germany. FSC proposes measures to control forest management worldwide that are environmentally sound, socially beneficial, and economically efficient.

The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) has established an international standard system for responsible forest management. It has also created a system of accreditation programs for third-party certification bodies (referred to as FSC) to certify forest management organizations and producers/traders of forest products according to FSC standards.
To provide consumers worldwide with a unified identification of products made from forests that have implemented responsible forest management programs, the FSC logo and labels on products serve as evidence of oversight by representative organizations.

NAM VIET BARCODE is also one of the units within that supply chain.

Therefore, the company's Board of Directors decided to invest in researching and obtaining FSC-CoC certification.

To meet the demands of the US and European markets.
